 　　 The rise of an international metropolis must rest upon rich healthcare resources. As the city of fortune and the capital of success, Chengdu has strong healthcare resources to become such a metropolis.

 　　 Sichuan province is known as hometown and gene bank of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since ancient times. As the core of the province, Chengdu is a major TCM producer and its mangnolia officinalis and linguisticum gained national geographic logo accreditation. With major TCM markets in China, Chengdu is also deemed as a barometer of the TCM market prices around the world.
